Gate Street Barn Wedding Photography | Daniela & Richard
Some things are just meant to be and I think Daniela and Richard’s wedding was one of those times when this rung true. Panic arose close to their wedding when their original wedding venue was flooded and the damage was so bad that they had to make some changes quickly. They soon found the gorgeous Gate Street Barn to host their wedding celebrations and what an awesome find! Snuggled into the Surrey Hills countryside on a working organic farm and surrounded by landscaped gardens, Gate Street Barn is the perfect venue for a country wedding.
The couple married in April and it was a quintessential British Spring day – a few quick downpours of rain, of course, but together with the gardens of Spring flowers, it just added to that lovely freshness a Spring day brings.
As I was second shooting for the lovely, Chris at Chris Giles Photography, he started with the girls at a nearby hotel and I got to hang with the boys at Gate Street Barn where they got ready.
The blooms of the day were styled by the awesome Gill Pike Florist in tones of lilac and white to enhance the country-vibe. Daniela looked stunning in a cream strapless satin, ruched fishtail dress whilst Richard went with a grey traditional morning suit.
Richard was so sweetly nervous, but beamed as he saw his bride-to-be walk the aisle towards him. Daniela and Richard were such a fun and adorable couple to work with and despite the set backs, they had the most beautiful and fun day.
Here’s a few of my images from the day…be sure to check out Daniela’s best ‘bunny’ look!
